Kiteworld Policies

Kiteworld.net's Privacy Policy

  • At Kiteworld.net we value your privacy as much as you do. This is why we will not share, sell or rent any customer information to any other company or business.
  • We gather two types of information about you. The first is the same information that most web sites gather when you visit, it is the information about what link you used to get to our site, search engine or banner ad. Also your IP address and the browser you are using. The second type of information is the information that you provide while placing an order or filling out your profile.
  • All information collected is used to better serve you the customer and to help us process orders.

Order Processing

  • Orders placed before 12:00pm Pacific Standard Time are processed the same day we receive them. Orders placed after that time will be processed the following business day.
  • If there will be a delay in shipping due to lack of availability, you will be notified by phone or email.

Kiteworld.net's Shipping Policy

  • UPS Ground shipping on most orders $50.00 or over is free of charge to customers within the continental U.S.
  • Any express shipping will be paid in full by the customer.
  • We do not ship items too big to fit on a UPS truck.
  • Some oversized items will not be included in our 'free shipping' policy.

Express Shipping

  • For expedited shipping (fast shipment) please select an option (Ups Next Day, Second Day..) on checkout.
  • Shipping charges will be added.
  • Orders placed after 12:00pm Pacific Standard Time will be processed the following business day.

Additional International Shipping Policies

  • Shipping to customers outside of the continental U.S. will be paid in full by the customer (some exceptions may apply).
  • Pacwave.net will not be responsible for or pay any customs or duty fees. The customer will be responsible for any customs or duty fees.

Credit Card Fraud Prevention

  • In order to combat credit card fraud we have put the following procedure in place: For cards issued from overseas banks and for customers that ask us to ship to a different name and/or address than is listed for that particular credit card account. The following steps must be taken in order to process your order.
  1. Your credit card will be charged a small random amount. This amount will vary from order to order for your protection, and is 100% applied to your purchase. When the need to do this arises you will be notified via email.
  2. Next, contact your issuing bank, or check your statement for the charge amount (these usually show up within 4 business days). Once you have the charge amount, contact us either by email or phone 888-223-9794.
  3. Once the charge amount is verified, we will charge the balance on your card and ship your order.
  • Once again this procedure only applies to credit cards issued from overseas banks and for customers that ask us to ship to a different name and/or address than is listed for that particular credit card account. These measures eliminate any unauthorized use of your card, so shopping with us is always safe and secure.

Security

  • All credit card numbers are encrypted when the order is placed using 128-bit SSL encryption. You can see at which point the shopping cart encrypts your information by the little yellow padlock that appears in the lower right corner of your browser. Your credit card numbers, personal information and order information are only decrypted after they reach our order processing computers. This information is not held in clear text on any web site or server.

Kiteworld.net's Return Policy At A Glance

  • Packages without RA #'s will be refused. Your return authorization number must be written on the outside of the return package for proper processing and credit. Do not ship in original product container and all Returns should be accompanied with the Return Document.
  • Most Non-Sale Store products may be returned within 30 days of your product's shipping date less our cost of shipping. All returned items must be accompanied by original retail tags and a receipt in order to be considered for a refund. Unless we made the error a 10% restocking fee may apply.
  • Most Non-Sale Store products may be exchanged within 30 days of your product's shipping date. All exchanged items must be accompanied by original retail tags and a receipt.
  • Sale or Clearance products may be returned only when defective and within 14 days of your product's shipping date.
  • Items must be in original packaging, in as-new condition with the original tags, receipt, all warranty cards, manuals and accessories.
  • After 30 days (14 days for sale products), please contact the manufacturer directly concerning warranty items. If you need help contacting or dealing with a manufacturer, contact us and we will act as mediator, but will not be responsible to accept or warranty any items.
  • If you request a replacement, we will ship your replacement after we receive and process your returned product. If you need a replacement right away, we suggest you request a credit rather than a replacement. Then place a new order. The new order will be shipped as soon as we have product available and your credit will be applied approximately 10-15 days after we receive the product you are returning.
  • If you refuse shipment for any item, you will receive a credit less our cost of shipping for the item.
  • Returns may be sent by US Regular Mail or UPS surface shipping, which ever is more convenient for you. Returns/Exchanges must be sent FREIGHT PREPAID! Sorry, we do not accept COD's, we do not send call tags and we do not accept 3rd party or recipient billing. We will refuse all packages sent under these conditions. If it is our error that is the cause for your return, we will reimburse your shipping costs. (This is actual freight and will not include any packaging, preparing, or mailroom costs.) We will not reimburse for Overnight, 2nd Day or Air Shipping.
  • Please allow approximately 10 business days for your return to be processed once it has arrived. Please allow 2 billing cycles for refunds to appear on your credit card statement. If you paid by Money order, Cashiers Check or Personal Check, please allow sufficient time for your return to reach us, and for return mail time to receive your refund check. If your exchange is not the result of an error on our part, our normal shipping rates apply.
  • If you receive a damaged or incomplete shipment, contact the Shipping Agency (Le. UPS, Airborne Express, etc.) immediately to file a claim. To file a claim, a representative of the agency must inspect the package in its original condition. If any further assistance is needed, please contact us.

Damaged Products

  • If you receive a product that has been damaged in shipping, your claim needs to be handled through the shipping company.
  • Contact us if you need information to help make claims.
